How to Use the Synapse Behavior Management Tool
1. Log Your Behavior:
- Date: Select the date when the behavior occurred.
- Behavior: Choose the behavior from the dropdown menu. If it’s not listed, select “Other” and describe it.
- Context: Choose the context in which the behavior occurred. If it’s not listed, select “Other” and describe it.
- Goal: Choose the goal related to the behavior. If it’s not listed, select “Other” and describe it.
- Click “Add Log” to save the entry.
2. View Your Logs:
- Your logged behaviors will appear in the log section below the form.
- Each entry shows the date, behavior, context, goal, and timestamp.
3. Visualize Your Data:
- The tool automatically calculates the frequency of each behavior over time.
- Charts are generated to show the daily frequency of behaviors, helping you track your progress.
4. Print Your Logs and Charts:
- Click “Print Log and Charts” to print a summary of your logs and visualizations.
Example
Log Entry:
- Date: 2024-12-20
- Behavior: Positive Interaction
- Context: Work
- Goal: Improve Communication
Result:
- The log entry is saved and displayed in the log section.
- The frequency of “Positive Interaction” on 2024-12-20 is updated in the chart.
